Role Summary
The Lead Front End Engineer provides hands on technical leadership for web application development, guiding the design and delivery of scalable, high quality React based solutions. This role plays a critical part in shaping front end architecture, improving performance, and ensuring a consistent and reliable customer experience.

In this role, you will lead development efforts, establish engineering standards, and collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver modern web applications. You will also oversee offshore vendor execution, ensuring accountability, alignment to standards, and high quality delivery while actively contributing to coding, design, and production support.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead development and delivery of React based web applications and reusable component libraries
• Design scalable front end architecture with a focus on performance, accessibility, and maintainability
• Provide hands on development for complex features, enhancements, and production issue resolution
• Establish and enforce engineering standards including coding practices, testing, and release processes
• Partner with product and UX teams to translate requirements into high quality technical solutions
• Collaborate with API, mobile, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure end to end delivery alignment
• Oversee offshore development teams and vendor partners to ensure quality, predictability, and adherence to standards
• Conduct code reviews and validate deliverables for performance, scalability, and reliability

Key Requirements
• 7 plus years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on front end web development
• 3 plus years of experience leading technical delivery or serving as a senior technical owner
• Strong hands on experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Deep understanding of front end architecture, state management, API integration, and performance optimization
• Experience working with REST or GraphQL APIs and modern web application patterns
• Proficiency with Git based workflows, CI CD pipelines, automated testing, and Agile delivery
• Experience working with offshore teams or distributed engineering models
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with the ability to influence technical and non technical stakeholders
