Role Overview
  • We are seeking a high-energy, strategic Product Manager (Contractor) to lead the digital commerce strategy and roadmap for the PureWick Retail MarTech team.
  • While our Product Owner focuses on sprint execution and day-to-day delivery, this role will serve as the commercial and strategic anchor working closely with business leadership and marketing stakeholders to maximize ROI, optimize the conversion funnel, and align business vision with technical execution.
  • You will own the "why" and the "what," ensuring our MarTech ecosystem directly supports critical revenue initiatives, patient experience goals, and long-term platform growth.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Roadmap & Prioritization
  • Translate high-level business goals and marketing initiatives into a cohesive, prioritized product roadmap that drives measurable revenue growth.
  • Evaluate and scope complex commercial initiatives to define the Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
  • Own the macro-prioritization of the product backlog, balancing immediate quick-turn marketing requests with long-term foundational upgrades.

2. Business Alignment & Stakeholder Leadership
  • Serve as the primary strategic partner to Marketing, Finance, and Operations leads, ensuring technical initiatives directly address business pain points and consumer needs.
  • Lead strategic alignment sessions, including pre-mortems and problem-solving processes (PSP), to mitigate operational risks before major feature rollouts.
  • Communicate the product vision, delivery timelines, and release impacts transparently to both executive leadership and downstream operational teams.

3. MarTech Ecosystem & Vendor Management
  • Oversee the strategic value of our Salesforce multi-cloud ecosystem (Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Health Cloud) and critical third-party integrations (e.G., payment gateways, fraud prevention, and behavioral analytics).
  • Manage relationships and alignment with external strategy consultants, technical partners, and offshore development vendors to ensure execution matches business expectations and established SLAs.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to transfer strategic requirements smoothly into the development pipeline, ensuring technical designs respect business intent.

4. Funnel Optimization & Growth Analytics
  • Analyze end-to-end user behavior and purchase funnels using tools like FullStory and Google Analytics 4 to identify conversion drop-offs and friction points.
  • Define and champion data-driven conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies, including complex A/B testing for promotional offers, landing page creative, and checkout flow enhancements.
  • Establish and monitor product KPIs (Average Order Value, conversion rates, and acquisition efficiency) to justify future platform investments and address immediate revenue gaps.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in product management, digital commerce, or business strategy, with a proven track record of owning product roadmaps and driving growth in an e-commerce environment.
Strategic Prioritization:
  • Strong proficiency in macro-prioritization frameworks, roadmap development, and balancing commercial business goals with technical constraints.
Communication & Stakeholder Management:
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills;proven ability to influence executive leadership, align cross-functional business units, and manage external vendor/consultant relationships.
Analytical Problem Solving:
  • Highly data-driven with a proactive approach to risk mitigation (e.G., pre-mortems) and utilizing formal problem-solving processes to address complex business hurdles.

Preferred Skills
  • Deep familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem, specifically Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), Marketing Cloud, or Health Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO), A/B testing methodologies, and web analytics tools like Google Analytics 4 and FullStory.
  • Experience navigating technical integrations for payment processing, automated fraud prevention (e.G., Stripe, Signifyd), or compliance-driven digital frameworks.
  • Prior experience working within the medical device, healthcare, or highly regulated industry.


Certifications
Certified Product Manager (CPM), Pragmatic Institute certification, or equivalent advanced product management training preferred.
