Job Overview:

An Outfitting Leaderman is responsible for directing and overseeing their workforce to ensure the successful Outfitting components for assigned vessels. This leadership role demands a focus on quality, production, safety, and environmental standards throughout the shipbuilding process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide the workforce in the Outfitting and assembly of structural components on assigned vessels.
• Interpret standard construction drawings to ensure accurate and efficient completion of tasks.
• Apply craft-specific knowledge of Outfitting processes and techniques, adhering to standard marine practices and construction specifications.
• Collaborate effectively with other supervisors to achieve project goals.
• Maintain a strong emphasis on quality assurance, productivity, safety, and environmental compliance.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of craft-specific experience in Outfitting.
• Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings and specifications.

Skills and Abilities:

• Basic understanding of Outfitting processes and familiarity with standard marine construction practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team of supervisors.
• Proven commitment to quality, production efficiency, and safety standards.
