A healthcare consulting organization focused on Medicaid quality improvement and population health initiatives is seeking a strategic leader to serve as a subject matter expert within Medicaid delivery systems and managed care environments. This individual will help drive quality improvement strategy, performance initiatives, and data-driven decision making across Medicaid programs.
This role partners closely with analytics, operational, and executive leadership teams to translate Medicaid data into actionable insights that improve healthcare quality, access, and outcomes.
Serve as a subject matter expert within Medicaid managed care and fee-for-service environments
Help drive quality improvement and performance strategy initiatives across Medicaid programs
Interpret healthcare quality, claims, and operational data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities
Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership and stakeholders
Partner cross-functionally with analytics, operations, and clinical teams to support quality and population health initiatives
Support development of dashboards, reporting tools, and strategic presentations
Contribute to initiatives focused on improving healthcare outcomes, provider performance, and Medicaid program effectiveness
Participate in strategic discussions related to Medicaid quality initiatives and managed care performance
7+ years of experience within Medicaid, managed care, population health, healthcare quality, or related healthcare environments
Strong understanding of Medicaid delivery systems and managed care organizations (MCOs)
Experience interpreting healthcare performance metrics, quality measures, or healthcare analytics
Ability to communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience working cross-functionally across analytics, operations, clinical, or strategy teams
Exposure to healthcare quality improvement initiatives, population health, HEDIS, or value-based care preferred
