The Director of Operating Room is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the surgical department, ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality patient care, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, hire, and train nursing, technical, and support staff.
- Coordinate daily operating room schedules, assignments, and workflow.
- Manage departmental budgets, purchasing, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control, and sterile processing standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of Director of Operating Room experience (required).
- Active Michigan RN license at the time of submission.
- Current AHA BLS Certification (required).
