Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Clinical Nurse Manager

Shift: Non-exempt, Days, 6:45a-3p, 8x5, 40hrs per week

Duration: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• NY License
• 2 years of experience
• Acute or Long Term Care experience
• Nurse Manager/Supervisory experience (preferred)
• Ventilator experience (preferred)
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• Graduate of an accredited RN program
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Other Details:

• Coordinates delivery of resident care; responsible for recommendation, development, and implementation of policies and procedures
• Maintains operational aspects of the assigned unit in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Oversees staff schedules, staff meetings, and ongoing education of residents and families
• Maintains standards of care and oversees compliance with the care planning process and facility policies
• Adheres to infection control standards and safety protocols
• Utilizes progressive disciplinary process including coaching and counseling
• Communicates regularly with Director of Nursing; collaborates across all three shifts
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
• Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• May involve exposure to resident's blood/body fluids
• Must be able to assist in evacuation of residents if necessary
