Overview:
Develops and creates visually appealing, user-friendly, and highly functional websites, videos and/or brand materials for M&T Equipment Finance Group (MTEFG). Guides the design process, from conceptualization to implementation.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Participate in the website, video, and/or brand material design process by providing creative direction, insights, and innovative design solutions.
- Ensure MTEFG website, video, and/or brand material design in meeting current standards as well as brand and company strategies; troubleshoot and solve any discovered issues.
- Analyze and audit existing websites, video, and/or brand material design for user experience, consistency, brand, and functionality.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards. Provide clear timelines, milestones, and progress updates to stakeholders.
- Review analytics on a regular basis and develop recommendations to improve activity, user experience and engagement.
- Research new designs and/or web standards, provide recommendations and strategies to improve designs, web presence, and/or user and brand experience. Ensure designs are visually appealing, consistent, and aligned with brand identity.
- Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
- Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
- Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

Education and Experience Required:
Associate's degree and a minimum of 2 years' graphic design experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 4 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 2 years' graphic design experience
Prior experience with pertinent graphic design software
Experience specific to web proficiency or print design and production
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Proven verbal and written communications skills
Proven organizational skills
Proven creative skills
Detail-oriented
Education and Experience Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Graphic Communications, Fine Arts, or related field
Experience with pertinent web analytics services or graphic design software
M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $24.87 - $41.45 Hourly (USD). The successful candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
