Apple's Global Security Investigations (GSI) team is a multidisciplinary group of attorneys, investigators, digital forensics experts, and analysts responsible for investigating significant threats to Apple's intellectual property and confidential information. These high-impact matters include insider threats, leaks, and trade secret theft.
GSI operates at the intersection of law, intelligence, and technology, with a singular mission: to protect what makes Apple extraordinary-our ideas, innovations, customers, and people. The team is defined by uncompromising integrity, analytical rigor, intellectual curiosity, and sound judgment.
Apple's product launches are among the most anticipated events in technology. The sense of surprise and discovery they create is intentional-built through years of relentless focus on user experience and design and a culture of secrecy.
When sensitive information is disclosed prematurely, the impact is immediate and far-reaching.
As a Leak Investigator, you will lead complex, high-stakes investigations into unauthorized disclosures of Apple's intellectual property and most sensitive business information. You will independently drive cases from inception through resolution, applying disciplined analysis, sound judgment, and investigative expertise to identify root causes and drive meaningful outcomes.
This role requires a rare combination of discretion, precision, and curiosity. You must be comfortable operating in ambiguity, following evidence objectively, and making defensible decisions under pressure. Success also depends on strong collaboration and the ability to translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights for cross-functional partners and leadership.
