Lean Production Team Lead

Step into a leadership role where you set the tone for safety, quality, and flow. As a Lean Production Team Lead at Alliance Laundry Systems, you will guide a crew of 8–12 talented operators, coach new hires, and keep our line moving smoothly. You’ll open the shift with a clear plan, close it with crisp handoffs, and elevate performance through continuous improvement.

Available Shifts

• 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM | Overtime (as needed): Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM (8 hours)
• 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM | Overtime (as needed): Friday, 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM (8 hours)
• 3rd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM | Overtime (as needed): Friday, 8:00 PM - 4:00 AM (8 hours)
• Weekend Days: Friday - Sunday, 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Overtime (as needed): Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM (8 hours)
• Weekend Nights: Friday - Sunday, 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM | Overtime (as needed): Monday - Thursday, 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM (8 hours)

What You’ll Do

• Onboard and train new team members; be the go-to resource as they ramp up.
• Lead daily pre-shift huddles covering safety, quality, HR updates, and production targets.
• Champion safety: verify compliance and secure proper PPE for the team when needed.
• Foster continuous improvement; surface and support ideas that enhance flow and quality.
• Flag systemic issues promptly to the Group Leader and collaborate on countermeasures.
• Maintain strong shift-to-shift communication with fellow Team Leads and Leaders.
• Track performance: update KPIs and area/zone metrics throughout the shift.
• Create, maintain, and audit Team Member Standard Work.
• Own daily management tools: Hour by Hour Boards, 5S Audits, Dupont Stop Observations, and work stacks.
• Navigate conflict toward resolution with coaching support from Group and Area Leaders.
• Use SAP to support and document the manufacturing process.
• Pitch in on additional tasks as needed to meet goals.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience leading others (work or volunteer) and a track record of stepping up.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes (preferred).
• People-first, servant leadership mindset.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Demands & Screenings

• Standing long period, sitting, manual dexterity, stooping, bending
• Passing a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds
• Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check
