As the Lean Value Stream Operations Leader, you guide multiple value streams to consistently ship high‑quality product on time and within established cost targets—while building a culture that puts people and their safety first.

    A Day in the Life

    • Start with a safety walk, reinforcing health, environmental, and 6S expectations with frontline teams.
    • Meet with Engineering and Quality to remove waste, elevate process capability, and proactively tackle recurring issues using lean and Six Sigma methods.
    • Confirm labor, technical support, maintenance coverage, and materials are in place so each value stream can run to plan.
    • Partner with Production Control to sequence schedules and drive proper schedule attainment.
    • Monitor cost, defect trends, and waste; lead teams to root cause and eliminate repeat failures.
    • Support cross-functional projects and step in on other related duties to keep production on track.

    Where You Fit

    This role reports to the Manufacturing Manager. The Manufacturing Manager oversees total site production performance and leads a team that includes Value Stream Managers and Production Coordinators.

    What You Bring

    • Results orientation and success in a high-performance manufacturing setting.
    • Skill in juggling multiple complex priorities with sharp attention to detail.
    • Ability to motivate teams, communicate clearly, and lead continuous improvement.
    • Strong analytical thinking, planning, organization, and administrative capability.
    • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma toolsets.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree (required).
    • 3–5 years of leadership experience (required).
    • Experience managing other managers (desired).
    • Engineering degree or equivalent background (desired).
    • Green Belt certification (desired).
    • Manufacturing management experience in a team-based environment (a plus).
    • Project management experience.

    Work Environment

    • Manufacturing shop floor and office environment.
