Primary Purpose:
To provide a positive learning environment for children where they can develop emotionally, socially, and mentally; to develop a program that allows each child to achieve success and to prepare them for a positive kindergarten experience.
Qualifications: Education/Certification:
- High School graduate or GED
- At least 21 years of age
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Ability to work well with children
- Creative, enjoys working with children
Experience:
- Prefer experience working with preschool children or enrollment in an educational degree program.
- Such other alternatives to the above qualifications as the administration might find appropriate and acceptable.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Plan and implement daily lessons aligned with weekly themes, ensuring they meet developmental needs across all learning domains.
- Create engaging, hands-on activities that promote learning and
- Prepare both teacher-made and child-made materials to enhance the classroom Be present and actively engaged with children at all times.
