Position: Learning and Development Coordinator
Location: Newport Beach, CA 92660
Work Model: Hybrid – 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
Shift: Normal business hours
Duration: 12+ month contract (extension possible based on performance)


About the Role

The Learning and Development Coordinator supports the end‑to‑end delivery of enterprise learning programs. This role is responsible for coordinating learning operations, maintaining accurate training records, managing logistics for virtual and in‑person programs, and serving as a key point of contact for learners and stakeholders. The Coordinator partners closely with the Talent Development team and external vendors to ensure seamless learning experiences across the organization.


Responsibilities

Program Coordination & Operations

  • Coordinate logistics for enterprise learning and development programs from planning through completion
  • Manage Learning Management System (LMS) setup, learning event creation, and course enrollment
  • Schedule program calendars and manage participant registrations
  • Assign pre‑work, manage learning materials, and support facilitators and vendors
  • Track attendance, completions, and assessments for virtual and in‑person learning events

Learner Support & Communication

  • Serve as first‑line support for learner inquiries via shared mailboxes and Microsoft Teams
  • Communicate program details, reminders, and follow‑ups clearly and professionally
  • Ensure a positive learner experience by resolving issues promptly and effectively

Reporting & Documentation

  • Produce accurate attendance, completion, and evaluation reports for stakeholders
  • Maintain organized and consistent learning documentation and repositories (e.g., SharePoint)
  • Support data accuracy and system integrity within the LMS

Collaboration & Continuous Support

  • Partner with the Cornerstone LMS Administrator to ensure system readiness and configuration
  • Act as a liaison between the Talent Development team and external learning vendors
  • Identify and escalate delivery risks, system issues, or operational concerns
  • Provide operational coverage for other enterprise learning programs during peak periods or team absences

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in learning coordination, training operations, or program support
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS), preferably Cornerstone
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Excel
  • Experience supporting learning programs in a global or multi‑location environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

Reporting Relationship

  • Reports to the Talent Development Program Manager
  • Works collaboratively within the Talent Development team and with cross‑functional partners
