Compensation: $110,000–$130,000 base + small bonus (bonus structure evolving next year)
We're partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to hire a Learning & Development leader who will own and scale the company's learning, leadership, and succession strategies. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to build and evolve L&D frameworks that directly support business growth, leadership readiness, and long-term talent development.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Own and execute the Learning & Talent Development strategy, aligned to workforce capability needs, leadership readiness, and succession planning
- Lead the organization's succession planning efforts, including talent reviews, bench strength assessments, and readiness planning for critical and leadership roles
- Design and deliver leadership and manager development programs tied to succession outcomes—not generic training
- Build and continuously improve standardized onboarding programs to reduce ramp time and increase early productivity
- Create career pathways and development frameworks that support internal mobility and retention
- Design and facilitate blended learning programs (instructor-led, digital, experiential, coaching/mentoring)
- Own and administer the LMS, ensuring adoption, scalability, and meaningful use of data
- Track and analyze learning and development metrics (ramp time, readiness, promotion rates, development plan completion)
- Partner closely with HR leadership, HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders as a trusted advisor on talent and capability needs
- Manage day-to-day L&D operations and help prepare the function for future scale
What They're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Education, Psychology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 7–10+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, OD, and/or Succession Planning
- Proven experience designing and leading leadership, learning, and succession programs in a complex environment
- Strong facilitation, executive stakeholder management, coaching, and curriculum design skills
- Experience with LMS administration, leadership assessments, and talent analytics strongly preferred
- Manufacturing or multi-site experience is a plus
- Relevant certifications (SHRM-SCP, CPTD/CPLP, ICF) are a plus
This is an excellent opportunity for an L&D leader who enjoys both strategy and hands-on execution, and who wants a seat at the table driving leadership readiness and long-term talent outcomes.
