Overview

The Learning and Development Program Manager is responsible for planning the delivery of company-wide solutions in areas including change management, leader and high potential development, organizational and team effectiveness. The L&D Program Manager will oversee the training, coaching, and quality control of a group of facilitators within the business. This role is the champion for growing our field operations leaders and preparing them for their current and future roles.

Responsibilities

• Leadership and Professional Development SME for field (focus on frontline leaders in transportation terminals and warehouse distribution centers) • Act as a strategic partner to HR colleagues and operations partners throughout the organization • Facilitate learning using a variety of instructional techniques and formats such as simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, and interactive lectures, including offering learning opportunities based on operational needs. • Manage the train-the-trainer program certifying HR Partners, contractors and other NFI employees to be facilitators • Manage the program implementation of field leadership and professional development, including coordinating trainer schedules, evaluating trainer effectiveness, coaching and providing feedback to trainers, managing stakeholder communications • Collect program feedback and evaluations, and compile for regularly scheduled report-outs • Apply tools to measure learning solution effectiveness and its impact on performance • Conduct recurring content audits to ensure all materials are up to date and at their most effective • Develop course content and supporting job aids into appropriate media

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, organizational development, adult learning, or similar degree or equivalent experience required • Expert training program facilitator • 5+ years experience facilitating leadership and professional development programs • Experience facilitating programs in a warehouse, transportation terminal, manufacturing, or similar type environment • Ability to coordinate and manage programs across multiple locations and teams • Expertise in multiple leadership development methodologies and programs • Demonstrated adult learning techniques and facilitation skills • Strong written and oral communication skills, experience in communicating effectively with a diverse group of individuals • Demonstrates working knowledge of e-learning development software and learning management systems

Compensation and Benefits

We are excited to share that the base salary range for this position is $91,583.70 - $112,111.00. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, targeted at 3%. NFI takes into consideration applicants qualifications, experience, education, and geographic location when determining a starting rate of pay.
