Under general supervision, the Learning Center Coordinator provides comprehensive leadership for campus-wide tutoring and academic support services. The Coordinator designs, implements, and evaluates innovative tutoring programs, embedded tutoring, supplemental instruction, and workshops to strengthen student success and retention. The role also includes responsibility for assessment, reporting, and innovative program development to enhance student outcomes.

Work Environment: Work is performed primarily in a professional educational environment including the Learning Center, classrooms, computer laboratories, offices, and meeting spaces. The position regularly interacts with students, faculty, administrators, tutors, and campus support staff in both individual and group settings. Responsibilities include coordinating multiple concurrent activities, responding to changing student and operational needs, and utilizing computers and instructional technology throughout the workday. Occasional travel between campus locations or attendance at college meetings, professional development activities, conferences, and community events may be required.

Normal Working Hours: Standard schedule, Monday - Friday; Flexibility is required to accommodate evening tutoring services, student workshops, registration periods, orientations, professional development activities, committee meetings, and occasional weekend events. Work hours may vary based on operational needs and the academic calendar.
