    Job Description

Truliant’s mission is to improve lives by putting our members first, providing great service and straightforward financial solutions. Our core values of Member Focus, Service, Guidance, Relationships, and Community define how we interact with members to fulfill our mission of improving lives and providing a foundation on which we conduct ourselves.

Our Promise to Our Teammates: Truliant strives to provide all teammates with an enjoyable place to work where they feel valued, empowered and rewarded for all that they do.

    Why this role matters

At Truliant Federal Credit Union, learning is one of the ways we improve lives. As a Learning Business Partner, you’ll connect business priorities with practical development strategies that help teammates build skills, serve members more consistently, and improve performance across frontline and operational teams.

This is a meaningful opportunity for someone who enjoys consulting with leaders, solving real business challenges, and turning insight into learning solutions that make work easier, clearer, and more effective.

    What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll serve as the strategic Learning & Development partner for assigned business areas, helping leaders identify capability gaps, clarify performance needs, and shape learning strategies that support business goals. You’ll work closely with leaders and cross-functional learning partners to ensure solutions are relevant, measurable, and grounded in the realities of day-to-day operations.

    Day to day, you’ll:

    • Partner with leaders in areas such as branch operations, contact center, lending, and other member-facing teams to understand workforce capability needs and performance opportunities.
    • Translate business priorities, operational data, quality insights, and teammate feedback into clear development strategies and learning roadmaps.
    • Collaborate with learning experience designers, facilitators, change management, and measurement teams to design, pilot, launch, and improve learning initiatives.

Beyond that, your work will help ensure learning programs are aligned to business workflows, focused on measurable outcomes, and designed to improve the teammate and member experience.

    What you bring

We’re looking for a thoughtful, consultative learning professional who can build trust with leaders, ask the right questions, and connect development work to business results. You’ll be successful here if you can balance strategy with execution and stay focused on solving the right problem, not simply responding to a training request.

This role is a great fit if you have:

    Required Experience:

    • 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or Human Resources roles with a consulting focus.

    Required Skills:

    • Diagnosing business performance challenges and identifying workforce capability gaps.
    • Using a consulting approach to determine whether a need is best addressed through training, process improvement, leadership support, or another operational solution.
    • Understanding frontline operations, such as branch banking, contact center environments, lending, or member service functions.
    • Connecting learning and capability development to business outcomes, productivity, consistency, and member experience.
    • Building trusted relationships and influencing business leaders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional partners.
    • Interpreting operational data, employee feedback, quality insights, and workflow trends to recommend practical development solutions.
    • Working with analytics or measurement partners to define success metrics and evaluate learning impact.
    • Coordinating work across matrixed project teams with strong communication, organization, and follow-through.

    Education/Certifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field is required.

You should also be comfortable operating as a strategic thought partner, asking clarifying questions, and helping leaders connect the dots between performance needs, teammate capabilities, and member outcomes.

    What sets you apart

You don’t need to check every box, but here’s what will help you thrive in this role:

    • Experience supporting frontline or customer-facing organizations.
    • Experience working in financial services, contact centers, branch operations, lending, or other operational environments.
    • A master’s degree in a related field.
    • Experience contributing to capability frameworks, learning journeys, pilot programs, or measurement strategies.

    What you’ll get

We believe in supporting our team members both professionally and personally.

In this role, you can expect:

    • Meaningful work tied directly to Truliant’s mission of improving lives by putting members first and providing straightforward financial solutions.
    • The opportunity to influence how teammates grow, learn, and deliver consistent service across member-facing and operational teams.
    • A collaborative Learning & Development environment where your consulting voice, business insight, and recommendations can shape measurable outcomes.
    • A culture that values inclusion, belonging, flexibility, and teammates feeling valued, empowered, and rewarded for the work they do.
    • Room to grow professionally through cross-functional partnerships, exposure to business leaders, and work that connects learning strategy with real operational impact.
