This position spends much of its time in the field, visiting our statewide locations to provide coaching, observation, training reinforcement, qualification support, and certification follow-up. This person helps turn classroom and online learning into everyday practice by offering practical guidance, supportive feedback, and clear follow-through. This role also helps show progress by tracking outcomes, documenting observations, and providing evidence of employee growth, competency, and achievement over time.

    • Serve as a qualified observer, coach, or evaluator for designated practicum, competency, and recertification activities, in accordance with organizational and regulatory expectations.
    • Notice skill gaps, practice inconsistencies, documentation concerns, and training reinforcement needs during site visits, then share helpful trends and recommendations with L&D and operational leadership.
    • Provide refreshers, demonstrations, side-by-side support, and follow-up coaching that help employees feel prepared and confident using their skills in real residential settings.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of observations, completed competencies, certification activities, attendance, follow-up actions, and identified learning needs.
    • Track, measure, and share training outcomes, skill development progress, and evidence of competency improvement after coaching or reinforcement activities.

    • Practical Problem Solving: Identifies barriers to skill application and recommends realistic reinforcement strategies.
    • Communication: Communicates clearly with employees, supervisors, site leaders, and L&D partners.
    • Results Orientation and Measurement: Stays focused on meaningful progress, uses documentation to show what is improving, and follows through to demonstrate achievement of training, competency, and performance goals.

    • Maintain accurate documentation of observations, completed competencies, certification activities, attendance, follow-up actions, and identified learning needs.
