Training And Event CoordinatorThe Training and Event Coordinator supports meeting and learning events both onsite and virtually for Raytheon. This position supports all logistical aspects of the learning and meeting events that VPS supports virtually and in the Greater Hartford, CT.Location will be greater Hartford between Farmington, CT and East Hartford CT supporting RTX Learning/Event Centers ONSITEMajor Job DutiesLearning Administration & Learning Management System (LMS) tasks 20%Configure Course Offerings in the LMSConfigure and prepare Group Outlook Account email notifications and Calendar invitesRespond to general requestsPrepare and review training reportsTroubleshoot access and learning plan issues, follow-up with students as neededPrepare billing reports as neededCoordinate all other logistics for both onsite and virtual eventsOrder CateringOrder and/or prepare class materials (rosters, handouts etc.)Shipping of materials as neededClassroom bookings (outside the learning center)Update SharePoint folders as requested with program detail updates, completed rosters, billing files etc.Virtual Class Production 30%Support virtual class delivery on ZoomShare presentationsManage attendanceHandle any technical issuesSupport in class interactions (polls, breakout rooms, surveys etc.)Record classes as requestedFollow all security/data policies and proceduresOnsite Learning Center Support 50%Setup and resetting of Learning Center classrooms based on client requirements, primarily in the Learning Center but could be at other Tucson sites.Support new employee orientationAssist presenters with basic Audio and visual connection/troubleshootingEnsure that rooms are maintained and stocked with standard suppliesInput Visitor/Non-Employee Visitor requestsFollow all security, safety and data policies and proceduresGeneral customer service for all guests in the Learning Center (visitors, students, and instructors)- via phone, email and in-person exchanges.Experience2-years minimum experience in a similar role managing logistics and delivery of multiple events/programsSkills & Technology UsedLearning Management System knowledge is preferredProficient using MSFT Office ApplicationsProficient using SharePoint or other shared document management/collaboration toolsMust demonstrate excellent business writing and verbal communication skills. Clear, concise and well-constructed/grammatically correct written communications are essential in our business.Must work well independently, be a self-starter, and demonstrate personal accountabilityExemplary time management and project coordination skillsEducationBachelor's Degree (Preferred)Physical ActivitiesNormal office environment activities.
