Position Title: Learning Management Specialist

                 

Position Summary

The Learning Management Specialist, a member of the Training and Development team within the Operations Organization, plays a key role in advancing employee growth and development across Monument. This position is responsible for designing, developing, delivering, and maintaining engaging learning programs, curriculum, and training resources that support employees at all levels, from individual contributors to leadership.

The specialist oversees the ongoing development and enhancement of Monument University (MonU) curriculum, ensuring learning solutions are accurate, relevant, effective, and aligned with organizational goals and evolving business needs. This role partners closely with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to identify training needs, assess skill gaps, define learning objectives, and translate business needs into practical, learner-focused experiences.

Additionally, the Learning Management Specialist manages training requests and the ongoing maintenance, auditing, and updating of learning content to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance.

Working collaboratively with the Corporate Development Lead, this role supports strategic learning initiatives, special projects, and administrative activities while helping maximize the impact of training programs through high-quality content delivery, operational excellence, and a learner-focused approach.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, deliver, and maintain engaging learning programs and resources for virtual and instructor-led environments.
• Manage training requests and projects from intake through implementation, coordinating scope, resources, timelines, and deliverables.
• Partner with subject matter experts and stakeholders to assess needs, identify skill gaps, define objectives, and develop course content.
• Maintain and audit MonU content for accuracy, quality, consistency, relevance, and compliance.
• Create measurable learning objectives aligned with employee and business outcomes.
• Support training execution and MonU administration, including coordination, documentation, and content updates.
• Collaborate with the Corporate Development Lead on strategic initiatives, special projects, and administrative activities.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships through clear communication, reliable follow-through, and a solutions-focused approach.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements to learner engagement and business impact.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, learning and development, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in training, content management, curriculum, or instructional design.
• Experience developing materials for virtual and instructor-led training environments.
• Familiarity with learning management systems and training development software.
• Ability to assess training needs and translate business requirements into effective learning solutions.
• Strong project management, organization, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.

Pay Range: USD $50,000.00 - USD $55,000.00 /Yr.
