LMS Administrator

Contract Opportunity | Kansas City, MO

Aspen Technical Staffing is seeking an experienced LMS Administrator for a contract opportunity with our client in Kansas City, Missouri. This role will support enterprise-wide learning and safety training initiatives by managing and optimizing the organization's Learning Management System (LMS), with a strong focus on Cornerstone OnDemand administration and learner support.

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in learning administration for large, global organizations and thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot learner and manager issues related to learning assignments, transcripts, and training records
  • Resolve Tier 3 employee requests and issues submitted through the HR Support portal
  • Collaborate with the Cornerstone System Administrator to escalate and resolve technical LMS issues
  • Create, configure, and maintain learning catalogs, curriculums, assignments, learning paths, and enterprise safety training programs
  • Support all aspects of safety training administration, including scheduling, communications, tracking, and follow-up
  • Upload, organize, and maintain training content such as courses, videos, and supporting materials to ensure accuracy and accessibility
  • Partner with Talent Development and key stakeholders to support deployment of new enterprise training initiatives
  • Manage training assignments, due dates, completion tracking, and compliance requirements
  • Monitor learner progress and ensure timely completion of mandatory and elective training programs
  • Generate and distribute reports on training activity, completion rates, and program effectiveness
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to learning administration and reporting processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in learning administration and LMS support
  • Strong experience administering learning programs in Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD)
  • Advanced proficiency in Cornerstone learning administration preferred
  • Experience supporting a global employee population
  • Proven experience creating complex training assignments, learning journeys, curriculums, and pathways within a matrixed organization
  • Experience troubleshooting training assignments, learner records, and system-related issues
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Cornerstone reporting tools and Power BI dashboards
  • Familiarity with Oracle HRIS is a plus
  • Experience partnering with Talent Development, HRIS, Change Management, and business stakeholders
  • Industry experience in AEC, construction, professional services, or other safety-focused industries preferred
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve learning administration efficiency preferred
  • Must be willing to work full-time onsite in the Kansas City, MO office
