Lease Operator

Overview As a Lease Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring, optimizing, and maintaining oil and gas production and injection wells on a rotational schedule. You will ensure peak efficiency and reliability of production equipment, support Health, Environment, and Safety processes.

Responsibilities

• Non-scheduled callouts outside normal business hours can be expected.
• Types of wells include flowing, beam pump (with electronic pump-off controller), plunger lift, water injection, and water disposal.
• Types of facilities include production tank batteries, flowlines, LACT (lease automatic custody transfer) facilities, water injection plants, natural gas compression, cathodic protection and metering devices (electronic gas measurement and others).
• Job is to be performed by employing safe work practices while utilizing acceptable environmental procedures to maximize earnings while minimizing costs on assigned oil and gas producing properties.
• Daily monitoring of multiple well sites by vehicle.
• Test, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment and mechanical problems.
• Perform mandatory paperwork required by customer and regulatory agencies.
• General housekeeping and field maintenance.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Lease Operator experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid US Drivers License with acceptable driving record required.
• Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, agility and fit for duty.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs.
• Walking, bending, and stopping are required.
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment.
• Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.
• Understanding of environmental and safe work practices.
