Leasing Agent - Affordable Housing (Santa Rosa, CA)

Location: Santa Rosa, CA

Schedule: Full-Time Hours, Temp

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $24.15 per hour

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Leasing Agent to support leasing operations for an affordable housing community in Santa Rosa. This position is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, resident relations experience, and knowledge of affordable housing compliance and recertifications.

Responsibilities

• Market available units and conduct leasing tours

• Process rental applications, resident files, and lease agreements

• Complete annual and interim resident recertifications

• Verify household income, assets, and required eligibility documentation

• Maintain compliance with affordable housing program requirements

• Assist residents with questions, concerns, and general support

• Maintain accurate records and ensure files are audit-ready

• Provide administrative support including document management and reporting

• Collaborate with site management to maintain occupancy goals

Qualifications

• Prior leasing or property management experience required

• Experience in affordable housing preferred

• Knowledge of recertifications, compliance, and resident file management preferred

• Strong attention to detail and follow-through

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively

Pay Details: $20.00 to $24.15 per hour
