Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the leasing process, ensuring a positive experience for prospective tenants while adhering to Fair Housing regulations. This role requires prior leasing experience, strong sales skills, excellent customer relationship management abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Duties
  • Conduct property tours and showcase available units to potential tenants.
  • Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry through lease signing.
  • Utilize upselling techniques to highlight property features and amenities.
  • Negotiate lease terms and conditions with prospective tenants.
  • Maintain accurate records of tenant applications, leases, and related documents.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations throughout the leasing process.
  • Address tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the facilities management team to ensure properties are well-maintained.
  • Provide administrative support related to real estate operations as needed.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in real estate or property management.
  • Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
  • Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to close deals effectively.
  • Proficient in office software applications and customer relationship management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files and tasks simultaneously.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
