Leasing Agent

Location: Sonoma, CA

Schedule: Full-Time Hours, Temp

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $24.15 per hour

Our client is seeking a customer-focused Leasing Agent to support an affordable housing community in Sonoma. This role combines leasing, resident services, administrative support, and recertification responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience working in affordable housing and enjoy building positive relationships with residents while ensuring compliance with housing program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property tours and assist prospective residents through the application process

• Process move-ins, move-outs, and lease documentation

• Perform annual and interim recertifications

• Collect and review income, asset, and eligibility documentation

• Maintain accurate resident files and ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations

• Respond to resident inquiries and provide exceptional customer service

• Assist with administrative duties including filing, correspondence, and data entry

• Coordinate with property management regarding occupancy and compliance requirements

• Maintain resident records within property management systems

Qualifications

• Previous leasing experience required

• Affordable housing experience preferred

• Recertification experience strongly preferred

• Strong administrative and organizational skills

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Pay Details: $20.00 to $24.15 per hour
