JOB DESCRIPTION
Indus Communities manages 39 apartment complexes and approximately 11,000 apartment homes across the Houston area, with a mission to revitalize under-managed multifamily properties into thriving residential communities. We are seeking a driven, customer-focused Leasing Consultant to serve as the first impression of our community and contribute directly to its leasing success.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome prospective residents and conduct engaging community tours
- Showcase apartment homes and communicate the benefits of Indus Communities
- qualified prospects into residents and meet leasing goals
- Process lease applications and assist with applicant screening
- Support resident move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals
- Build and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective residents
- Assist with marketing initiatives, outreach efforts, and community events
- Conduct apartment inspections and help maintain community appearance standards
- Partner with maintenance and property management teams to deliver an excellent resident experience
- Communicate proactively with residents to promote lease renewals and retention

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 6 months of relevant sales and customer service experience
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and follow-through skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship-building abilities
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and property management software
- Positive, professional demeanor; ability to remain calm and engaging in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a property team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 or more years of experience in customer service, sales, and leasing in multifamily housing or hospitality
