Description
A privately-held multifamily owner-operator is hiring a Bilingual Leasing Consultant to support apartment communities in the Oklahoma City area. The role works closely with on-site management and supports leasing across multiple properties.
About the Role
The Leasing Consultant is the first point of contact for prospective residents and plays a central role in the leasing experience — from initial inquiry through move-in. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a customer-facing environment.
Day-to-Day
Respond to leasing inquiries by phone, email, and in person
Tour apartment homes and present community features to prospective residents
Track prospect activity and follow-ups in the property management system
Prepare lease agreements and related move-in documentation
Conduct pre-move-in unit inspections
Coordinate keys, access devices, and parking assignments at move-in
Assist with resident questions and service request intake
Stay current on competing properties and local market activity
Help prepare market surveys and leasing reports
Support resident events and on-site activities
What We're Looking For
Two or more years of leasing, sales, or customer service experience
Bilingual English/Spanish — able to read, write, and speak both fluently
Comfort with property management software (ResMan, Yardi, RealPage, AppFolio, or similar)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Basic math skills for prorations, deposits, and lease calculations
Familiarity with Fair Housing standards
High school diploma or equivalent
NALP or similar leasing certification a plus
Compensation and Benefits
$21–$23 per hour, depending on experience
Leasing commissions and performance bonuses
