Position Summary

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for creating a welcoming experience for prospective and current residents while helping drive occupancy through effective leasing and exceptional customer service. This role includes touring apartment homes, processing applications, assisting residents, and supporting the daily operations of the leasing office.

The ideal candidate is outgoing, organized, sales-oriented, and committed to delivering an outstanding resident experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and conduct community and apartment tours.
• Respond to phone, email, and online leasing inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Process rental applications and lease documents accurately.
• Assist with lease renewals and resident retention initiatives.
• Maintain knowledge of apartment availability, pricing, and community amenities.
• Build strong relationships with current and prospective residents.
• Help coordinate resident events and community outreach activities.
• Maintain an organized leasing office and accurate resident records.
• Support the property management team with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Required

• Previous leasing, customer service, sales, hospitality, or property management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service and sales abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn property management software.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Preferred

• Previous multifamily leasing experience.
• Experience with Yardi, OneSite, Entrata, RealPage, or similar property management software.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing guidelines.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

• Office environment with frequent walking throughout the property.
• Regular interaction with residents, prospects, vendors, and team members.
• Occasional weekend hours may be required.
