Leasing Consultant Job Duties include:
- Achieve and consistently exceed monthly leasing and occupancy targets.
- Professionally present and sell community amenities and floor plans to prospective residents.
- Proactively follow up on all digital, phone, and walk-in leads using a CRM system.
- Execute and process all applications and lease paperwork using property management software.
- Efficiently conduct tours and leverage digital tools for prospect engagement.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and actively participate in resident retention efforts.
- Other duties as assigned
Leasing Consultant Preferred Skills include:- Proven ability to overcome objections and successfully close sales.
- High comfort level with learning and managing new software and digital platforms.
- Prior experience using property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage, Entrata).
- Clear, persuasive, and professional verbal and written skills.
- Excellent ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple leads simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently to achieve goals.
- Able to provide 2 professional references
Leasing Consultant Requirements may include:- 1-3 years of experience in sales, retail, or customer service.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including required weekends.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen
