Position Overview

As a Bilingual Leasing Consultant, you will serve as the first point of contact for prospective and current residents. You will be responsible for showcasing apartment homes, assisting with the leasing process, generating traffic, and supporting resident retention efforts. Your ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish will be instrumental in providing outstanding service to a diverse resident population.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist prospective residents in a professional and welcoming manner
• Conduct apartment tours and effectively present community features and amenities
• Respond to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in person
• Process rental applications and lease documentation accurately
• Maintain current knowledge of pricing, availability, and property features
• Follow up with prospective residents to maximize occupancy opportunities
• Assist with resident relations and provide exceptional customer service
• Maintain leasing traffic records and reports
• Support marketing and outreach initiatives to attract qualified prospects
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing guidelines and company policies

Qualifications

Required

Bilingual in English and Spanish

Previous leasing consultant or apartment industry experience

Working knowledge of the Yardi Property Management System (MUST HAVE)

Strong customer service and sales skills

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Professional appearance and demeanor

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Experience with multifamily housing communities

Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
