Pay:  $17.05 – $20.40 per hour ($35,464 - $42,432 annually)
 
Schedule:  Full Time, Non-Exempt (40 hours/week)
 
Work Arrangement:  On-site

Program Overview: Hope Manor II is a supportive housing community designed to serve individuals and families experiencing homelessness or at risk of housing instability, with a focus on Veterans with families, including female Veterans and those with children. This campus-style community provides a continuum of housing and supportive services that help Veterans achieve long-term stability, independence, and improved quality of life. The program goes beyond housing by promoting self-sufficiency, skill-building, and strong community connections.

Position Summary: The Leasing Specialist/Receptionist provides front‑office, leasing, resident‑service, and administrative support to ensure smooth property operations, accurate records, strong resident relations, and compliance with company and program requirements.  
Work Environment & Schedule:  
  • Full-time, in-office position averaging 40 hours per week
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Physical demands include sedentary work, computer use, and frequent communication with residents, clients, colleagues, and community partners
 
 
What You’ll Do:
 
  • Work with property manager and other members of the property team to maximize revenues and adhere to budgeted cost parameters.
  • Assist with daily rent collections, as required.
  • Accept revenue payments from residents and insures payments are handled according to company policy and procedure.
  • Answer and respond to telephone inquiries.
  • Schedule site visits as appropriate.
  • Greet visitors, residents and clients directing them to correct party
  • Assist with completing prospect information cards.
  • Assist prospects with the completion of applications, completes application verifications according to company policy and procedure and follows property resident qualification standards.
  • Work with property manager and assistant property manager in updating all resident forms.
  • Work with assistant manager/property manager to ensure all prospect, traffic, and other leasing data is entered correctly and in a timely manner into the on-site property management software system.
  • Assist property manager with preparation of investor, syndicator and asset management file audits in accordance with locate, state and federal objectives.
  • Prepare and post weekly/monthly calendar of events, which include room scheduling.
  • Work with property team to maximize resident renewals.
  • Take maintenance requests from residents and forward on to the maintenance.
  • Work with property team to ensure adherence to company safety standards, policies and procedures. Works with property team to ensure that all safety inspections are completed as required and ensures adherence to company key control policies.
  • Work with on-site staff to ensure that resident issues are dealt with in a timely manner and that proper follow-through is done.
  • Assist property manager with scheduling, organizing and hosting resident functions
 
Qualifications
Required:
 
  1. Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Must have excellent organization and customer service skills.
  3. Must be able to communicate effectively with a variety of personnel.
  4. Ability to communicate effectively and maintain good relations with clients and employees.
  5. Must be proficient in Microsoft office word/excel.
  6. Must have some flexibility as some Saturdays may be necessary to complete tasks.
