Contract role 3- 6 months fully on site
Hours: 8:30- 4:00pm or 9:00am- 5:00pm
Pay: $28- $30.00 an hour
Leaves of Absence & Benefits Administration
- Manage high-volume leave cases, including personal leave, short- and long-term disability, and workers' compensation.
- Oversee case administration, ensuring compliance with FMLA, OSHA, and applicable federal and state laws.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding leave of absence matters; maintain communication with employees, managers, and HR throughout the leave process.
Employee Support & Communication
- Respond to employee inquiries about leave programs, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain ongoing follow-up with employees on leave and provide status updates as needed.
- Ensure clear, professional written and verbal communication at all times.
Compliance & Program Management
- Administer leave programs in accordance with FMLA, ADA, USERRA, Pregnancy Discrimination Act, and other regulations.
- Maintain current knowledge of all applicable laws and industry trends, implementing updates to policies and processes as needed.
- Ensure workers' compensation cases align with OSHA and regulatory requirements in collaboration with Environmental Health & Safety.
- Track and analyze leave and workers' compensation data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Coordination & Vendor Management
- Act as liaison with third-party leave and workers' compensation vendors.
- Coordinate all leave documentation while ensuring HIPAA and employee privacy compliance.
- Process benefits payments for employees on leave and manage repayment plans upon return.
- Maintain strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
- Utilize HRIS systems (UltiPro preferred) and MS Office tools.
- Support special projects within the benefits area as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of managing leave cases and workers' compensation claims.
