Responsibilities:
Do you have extensive knowledge and experience with leave management?
The Leave Administrator for Tower Healthmanages leave and accommodation requests, particularly those arising under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), worker's compensation, and other related state and local leave laws, Tower's short or long-term disability plans, paid parental leaves, and all other leave of absence policies.
The Administrator:
- Oversees support staff who are responsible for handling the processing of leave requests, return to work requests on a day- to- day basis along with managing own case load
- Maintains associated policies and ensures managers and employees are knowledgeable of their responsibilities under the policies to ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws related to leaves, requests for accommodations, worker's compensation, etc.
- Conducts trending analyses to make recommendations on wellness initiatives, workplace safety initiatives, etc.
- Collaborates closely with key stakeholders internally and externally

Qualifications:
Experience
- Extensive experience with administering leave management and extensive knowledge in federal, state, and local laws is required
- Extensive leave management experience in a healthcare environment is a plus

Education Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree
Certification and Licensure
- Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role
- Certified Leave Management Specialist (CLMS) certification is a plus but not required
