POSITIONPURPOSE:
Processes information to facilitate employment and payment of employees; responds to questions from employees, applicants, and administrators; and processes leave of absence requests following federal, state, and local guidelines.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION,TRAINING,ANDEXPERIENCE
- Highschooldiplomaorequivalent;
- Threeyearsofclericalexperience.

- ExperienceworkingwithOraclebusinessapplications;
- ExperiencewithHuman Resourcesworkfunctions;
- Knowledge of Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) guidelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares and sends letters for all personnel changes including hiring, transfers, assignment changes, and resignations.
- Reviews and processes leave of absence requests submitted by employees for accuracy and approval by following Federal, State, and local guidelines; prepares and sends timely notification letters to employees regarding the status of leave requests.
- Provides office support for the human resource administrator such as word processing, maintaining spreadsheets, and call routing.
- Provideseffectivecustomerservicetotelephone,email,andwalk-ininquiries.
- ParticipatesinLeavesandStaffingSpecialists'meetings,trainings,andactivities.
- Performsotherrelated duties,asassigned.
WORKENVIRONMENT/PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS
This job operatesin a professionaloffice environmentand has anoise level ofmostly lowto moderate. Thisrole routinelyuses standard officeequipmentsuch ascomputers,scanners,andcopiers. The position, at times, must be able to come into direct contact with school system staff and the public. Work is considered light physical work, requiring the exertion of up to ten pounds of force.
