Brief Job Description The department is accepting applications to fill current and future part-time temporary teaching positions as a Sign Language Instructor. This position requires that applicants be able to teach beginning 101 and intermediate 102 courses in sign language ASL and have personal familiarity and/or experience with Deaf culture. Applicants must be available to teach during regular day-time business hours. This is a pool posting, and applications are accepted on an on-going basis. Applicants will be contacted on an as-needed basis.
Required Qualifications • Bachelors degree. • Official transcripts will be required upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications • Masters degree. • Some prior teaching experience in ASL or similar courses is strongly preferred.
