Duties & Responsibilities
Teaching
Teaching law school advocacy teams (mock trial, moot court, or alternative dispute resolution) in both the fall and spring semester
Teaching advocacy related trainings through the fall and spring semester to College of Law students
Teaching CLEs relating to advocacy to members of the Illinois bar and alumni
Mentoring College of Law students on advocacy related opportunities and the profession of law
Teaching an advocacy related course in both the fall and spring semesters
Program Management
Collaborating with the Anderson Center Director in the development of new and innovative courses for the Trial Advocacy Program
Collaborating with the Anderson Center Director in development of online and live programs for the trial advocacy community
Collaborating with the Anderson Center Director in development of advocacy (mock trial, moot court, alternative dispute resolution) competitions that will be hosted and sponsored by the Anderson Center and College of Law
Collaborating with the Anderson Center Director in development of symposia, practice case files and problems, and advocacy related scholarship and publications
Administration
Assisting the Anderson Center Director with the administration and development of the Mock Trial Program
Assisting the Anderson Center Director with the administration and development of the Moot Court Program
Assisting the Anderson Center Director with the administration and development of the Competitive Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
