Job Description

Lecturer in Composition

The University of North Carolina at Pembroke invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track lecturer position. The position will teach freshman composition courses to begin August 2026. 4/4 load. Departmental service may be required. Initial appointment for one year; possibility of renewal based on satisfactory performance and instructional need.

Candidates must have a master's or doctoral degree in an appropriate area of English or Composition/Rhetoric. Candidates must have college-level teaching experience.
