Wilson College invites applications for a full-time Lecturer in Veterinary Nursing beginning in the 2026-2027 academic year. This is a nine-month faculty appointment with a 4/4 teaching load, and an annual review schedule.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative, student-centered program committed to preparing future veterinary nurses through hands-on instruction, clinical skills development, mentorship, and experiential learning. Teaching responsibilities may include lecture and laboratory courses within the Veterinary Nursing and/or Animal Studies curricula, depending on the candidate's expertise and program needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of an associate degree in veterinary technology and a bachelor's degree, which may be in veterinary technology or another field.
  • Candidates must hold Pennsylvania veterinary technician credentials or be eligible to obtain Pennsylvania credentialing, or hold a Pennsylvania veterinary license or be eligible for Pennsylvania veterinary licensure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology or Veterinary Nursing.
  • Minimum of three years of clinical veterinary experience.
  • Prior teaching, training, clinical instruction, or mentoring experience.
  • Clinical expertise in one or more of the following areas: small animal medicine, surgery, anesthesia, laboratory animal science, equine medicine, or related disciplines.
