Job Title: Lecturer/Special Lecturer - Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Job Description Summary:
The Department of Interdisciplinary Health Sciences invites applicants for the part-time positions of Lecturer and Special Lecturer to instruct courses in the Interdisciplinary Healthcare Studies and Health Sciences programs. Courses are at the introductory and intermediate level and cover topics including health behaviors, health promotion and disease prevention, health behavior theory, and healthcare leadership. Courses meet in-person, synchronously online, or in a hybrid (online and in-person) format.
This posting is to create a pool of interested applicants from which the Department may draw as sections become open at any point in the 2026-2027 academic year. This posting may or may not result in the hiring of an applicant. Pre-employment screening includes verification of academic credentials and background check.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree or doctorate in a health-related discipline, relevant to the course(s) taught. Preference for candidates with teaching experience and/or professional background in healthcare or public and community health settings.
