The teaching areas include, but are not limited to biogeography, physical geography, and human-cultural geography. Responsibilities will include teaching, conducting regularly scheduled office hours, writing and grading exams, and supervising readers and teaching assistants.\n \nLecturer appointments are assigned according to the instructional needs of the Department of Geography and may be established quarter by quarter as dictated by the Strategic plan of the Department Chair. Applicants must demonstrate a record of effective undergraduate teaching. Appointees may be asked to instruct one or more courses.
