    __ PRIMARY PURPOSE Provide visible, student-centered leadership that fosters a positive school culture in which students and staff feel known, supported,

    challenged,

    and

    connected.

    Direct

    and

    manage

    the

    overall

    operations

    of

    the

    campus

    while

    establishing

    high

    expectations

    for

    student

    achievement,

    staff

    performance,

    and

    school

    culture.

    Lead the campus instructional program to ensure high standards of teaching and learning and improved student outcomes. Recruit,

    hire,

    develop,

    and

    retain

    excellent

    staff

    who

    are

    committed

    to

    students

    and

    to

    the

    district's

    mission,

    vision,

    and

    values.

    Build

    meaningful

    traditions,

    relationships,

    and

    a

    strong

    school

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Instructional Leadership

    1. Provide student-centered instructional leadership focused on high expectations, academic growth, student engagement, and

    achievement.

    1. Monitor instructional processes to ensure that program activities are aligned with desired student outcomes and use findings

    to

    make

    appropriate

    adjustments.

    1. Provide instructional resources, materials, professional learning, and support needed to accomplish instructional goals.
    2. Establish clear expectations for staff performance related to instructional practices, classroom management, student relationships,

    professional

    responsibilities,

    and

    communication

    with

    families

    and

    the

    community.

    1. Maintain a visible presence in classrooms and throughout the campus to understand the daily experiences of students and

    staff

    and

    provide

    meaningful

    feedback

    and

    support.

    1. Foster collaboration, collegiality, and team building among staff members and encourage meaningful involvement in campus

    decision-making.

    1. Solicit regular input from campus-level committees regarding the planning, operation, supervision, and evaluation of campus

    educational

    programs.

    students,

    parents,

    and

    community

    representatives

    when

    appropriate.

    1. Act as campus behavior coordinator in accordance with state laws and regulations.
    2. Work with faculty and students to develop a student discipline management system that promotes positive student behavior,

    accountability,

    strong

    relationships,

    and

    a

    positive

    school

    climate.

    1. Ensure that school rules are consistently applied and that student discipline is appropriate and equitable in accordance with

    the

    Student

    Code

    of

    Conduct

    and

    student

    handbook.

    1. Conduct conferences regarding student and school issues with parents, students, and staff.
    2. Be highly visible and accessible to students during the school day and at campus programs, activities, extracurricular events,

    and

    other

    opportunities

    that

    strengthen

    relationships

    and

    school

    pride.

    1. Develop meaningful relationships with students and create opportunities to understand their experiences, interests, successes,

    and

    concerns.

    Management of Fiscal, Administrative, and Facilities Functions

    1. Comply with district policies and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
    2. Develop and administer the campus budget based on documented program needs and estimated enrollment, ensuring operations

    are

    cost-effective

    and

    funds

    are

    managed

    responsibly.

    1. Compile, maintain, and file all required reports, records, and documents accurately and in a timely manner.

    2. Manage the use of school facilities and oversee maintenance to ensure a clean, orderly, welcoming, and safe campus environment.

    3. Establish efficient campus systems, procedures, and expectations that support students and staff and maximize time devoted

    to

    teaching

    and

    learning.

    1. Serve as a visible, approachable, accessible, and engaged leader for students, staff, parents, and community members.

    campus

    goals.

    1. Build positive, trusting relationships with students, staff, families, and community members through consistent communication,

    1. Demonstrate awareness of school and community needs and initiate activities to address those needs using effective strategies

    MENTAL DEMANDS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS / ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS: Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment, including a personal computer and peripherals. Posture: Frequent sitting and standing; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting. Motion: Repetitive hand motions; frequent keyboarding and use of a mouse; occasional reaching. Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds); occasional physical restraint of students to control behavior.

    Environment: May work prolonged or irregular hours; work inside and outside with exposure to sun, heat, cold, inclement weather,

    and

    noise;

    occasional

    districtwide

    and

    statewide

    travel.

    Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress. All employees are expected to follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
