Job Title: Legal Admin (Temp)
Location: Port Washington, NY (Full-Time Onsite)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Hourly Rate: $35-40/hour, dependent on experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to support Corporate Counsel. This role will focus on contract administration, legal document management, and coordination of communications across internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer customer contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and related legal documents
Review, draft, edit, amend, and proofread legal documentation and correspondence
Track and log contract status to ensure timely processing and completion
Prioritize and route incoming emails and communications to appropriate parties
Monitor deadlines and provide regular updates to Corporate Counsel on contract progress
Create, organize, and maintain legal files, project folders, and supporting documentation
Maintain both physical and electronic filing systems for efficiency and accuracy
Manage legal communications with internal teams and external clients
Answer and direct phone calls; take messages as needed
Handle distribution of documents via mail, fax, email, and electronic upload
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a legal administrative or contract administration role
Strong understanding of legal documents and contract processes
Excellent organizational and time management skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems
Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
