A leading AmLaw ranked law firm is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant for its Charleston, South Carolina office. This role supports a busy team of corporate legal professionals and plays an integral part in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly.
Core responsibilities include managing attorney calendars and meetings, processing expense reimbursements, and providing general administrative support. The position also involves preparing, reviewing, editing, redlining, and formatting a wide range of legal documents, as well as maintaining organized document management systems. The role supports client and matter intake — including conflict checks, opening new client and matter engagements, and establishing client-specific billing requirements.
Candidates should have corporate legal experience (or a strong willingness to learn) and exceptional proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Strong attention to detail is essential. Experience with a document management system, billing software, and time entry program is preferred.
