ResponsibilitiesProvide legal secretarial and administrative support to assigned attorneys.Prepare letters, memos, and other documentation as required.Enter client information into the system to run conflict checks for new clients and prepare supporting documentation such as engagement letters.Prepare and file pleadings with the appropriate court system and docket dates into a central docketing system.Make travel arrangements and prepare expense reimbursement documentation.Answer the phones of assigned attorneys.Enter attorney time.Assist attorneys, legal assistants, and staff in other offices as needed.QualificationsMinimum of three (3) years of experience in legal administration.Experience in a high‑volume, fast‑paced legal practice is preferred.Excellent computer skills utilizing all aspects of Office 365.Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong attention to detail and superb proofreading skills.Ability to prioritize and manage a diverse workload.Team player with the ability to absorb information quickly and adapt to change.Sound judgment and business acumen when interacting with clients, potential clients, guests, coworkers, and others.Certified Legal Secretary designation is a plus.Compensation and BenefitsThe salary range at the time of posting is $31.25 - $38.50 hourly ($65,000 - $80,000 annually), based upon a full‑time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data.
