Overview:
The Intellectual Property team's TRAK-IP Group is hiring a Legal Analyst who will be responsible for rights analyses of numerous types of entertainment agreements, including distribution, acquisition, co-financing, co-production, multi-picture, network license, and talent agreements. The Analyst also will be responsible for researching, entering, updating, and managing data in various systems used by the department and Company.
The TRAK-IP Group serves clients across SPE's divisions around the world, including domestic and international sales/distribution, motion picture and television production and acquisitions, local language productions and acquisitions, and consumer products and other ancillary exploitation groups.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Vice President of Legal-IP department, determine and internally communicate the company's rights and associated restrictions and obligations in its currently owned properties:
The Legal Analyst will be responsible for understanding the business practices and legal issues relevant to this work, and for proactively communicating with clients and supervisors to resolve issues.
