Legal Secretary / Legal Assistant – Baton Rouge, LA

One of the top personal injury law firms in the country, with offices in Houston, Dallas, Midland, and Baton Rouge, is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary/Legal Assistant for their Baton Rouge office.

Position Overview:
This is a full-time, 100% in-office position supporting a group of attorneys in a fast-paced litigation environment. The firm is nationally recognized for its record-setting victories and has been consistently named among the best personal injury law firms in Texas.

Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Salary: Up to $80,000, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Support a designated group of attorneys
• Manage busy calendars and evolving schedules
• Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and events
• E-file documents in state and federal courts
• Track deadlines and handle docketing
• Assist with trial preparation and legal document management

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a litigation legal secretary, preferably within personal injury
• Strong tenure in previous roles
• Professional, proactive, and highly organized
• Ability to anticipate needs and manage multiple priorities
• Strong decision-making and communication skills
• Able to work collaboratively within a team environment
