This ideal candidate has great attention to detail and completes tasks promptly and with accuracy.ResponsibilitiesAnswer and direct incoming calls promptly and professionallyGreet clients, visitors, and vendors with exceptional customer service and positive attitudeProcess and distribute daily mail, faxes, and UPS packages, and packets for legal courier serviceOrder and maintain office and kitchen supplies for all locationsProcess and save Conflict Check emailsProvide support to assigned attorneys, including document organization and review; preparation of form and initial discovery; medical record and financial record summaries; document preparation for depositions, hearings, and trialPrepare initial drafts of pleadings, discovery, and discovery objectionsFile and record documents with the recorder's office, Secretary of State, and other government offices both electronically and via hard copyOrganize and maintain electronic and paper correspondence and filesCoordinate and maintain attorneys' calendars, tasks lists and schedules, including scheduling meetings, conference calls and conference rooms, entering important deadlines and reminders, and providing ample notice to the attorneysResearch public records and laws via Lexis Nexis and Internet searchesPrepare medical release forms and request medical recordsQualificationsStrong grammatical knowledge (e.g. structure of formal correspondence)Addresses all projects and tasks with a sense of urgencyAdvanced experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software from the Microsoft suite of productsEffective communication skills both written and verbalAdvanced organization skills and attention to detailThis is a full-time position with health, dental and vision insurance benefits, PTO, 401K, and a great work environment.If you are interested in joining our SSP team, please submit a cover letter and resume online via our Careers page at sspfirm.com.SSP is an equal opportunity employer#J-18808-Ljbffr
