Litigation Legal Assistant / Paralegal
Position Overview
A boutique law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of litigation. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and seeks long-term career growth.
Schedule
- 100% onsite
- Flexible for doctor appointments and sick days, with limited remote flexibility
Practice Areas
Candidates should have experience in at least one of the following:
- Commercial Litigation
- Construction Litigation
- Property Liability
- Employment Law
- Mass Tort
Key Responsibilities
- Manage billing and time entry
- Support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, including discovery, e-discovery, trial, and post-trial activities
- Prepare, proofread, and electronically file legal documents
- Assist with pretrial and trial preparation
- Handle administrative and logistical tasks as needed
- Maintain organized case files and documentation
Qualifications
- Prior law firm or legal department experience required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience with state and/or federal court filings preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent communication, organization, multitasking, and proofreading abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
