A well-established boutique law firm in Alpharetta is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support a busy insurance defense practice. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and enjoys managing the details that keep complex litigation matters moving forward. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, revise, and proofread pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents
Draft and format discovery requests and responses while maintaining accuracy and consistency
Organize exhibits, deposition materials, trial notebooks, and case files for hearings and trial preparation
Electronically file documents in state, federal, and appellate courts
Manage document production, including scanning, Bates stamping, copying, filing, and service of documents
Maintain attorney calendars, monitor deadlines, and ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks
Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors
Provide administrative and litigation support while contributing to a collaborative team environment
Qualifications:
3+ years of litigation legal assistant or legal secretary experience, preferably in insurance defense or a related litigation practice
Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court rules, and e-filing requirements
Excellent typing, proofreading, grammar, and document formatting skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience with NetDocuments and/or Orion is a plus
