Job duties:
Work onsite in Uniondale M-F 9am to 5pm.
The Legal Assistant will provide litigation support to our commercial loans and banking team.
Organize and catalogue documents pertinent to transaction closings.
Draft supporting loan documents, reports, memoranda and correspondence.
Maintain filing system, ensuring accessibility completeness and accuracy of the database.
Draft routine correspondence and transmittal letters.
Enter billing information, maintain time records, and assist with invoicing as needed.
Format, proofread, and revise legal documents related to lending transactions.
Required:
Recent experience as a Legal Assistant
