The Firm is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Legal Assistant with 3+ years of supporting Employment Law and Commercial Litigation practices to join our Las Vegas office. In this role, you will work in close partnership with assigned attorneys, supporting matters from inception through resolution while managing a dynamic workflow and delivering high-quality administrative services to our business clients. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and demonstrates strong ownership, professionalism, and attention to detail.Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Manage assigned attorneys' calendars, dockets, deadlines, and appointments with a high degree of accuracyPerform e-filing in state and federal courts, as well as with administrative agencies such as the EEOC and NLRBCoordinate and support litigation matters, including document management, filings, and general case supportScreen incoming client calls and correspondence; respond independently when appropriateDraft, format, and prepare emails, confidential correspondence, reports, and other complex legal documentsMaintain attorney billing processesCreate, maintain, and manipulate spreadsheet data, including use of formulasMaintain organized client files in document management systems and ensure accuracy of recordsAnticipate attorney needs and proactively manage workflow and prioritiesProvide back-up support to other legal assistants as neededPerform additional administrative and legal support duties as assignedQualifications & ExperienceMinimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably within Employment Law and Commercial LitigationDemonstrated experience supporting litigation matters in a deadline-driven environment; exposure to discovery, filings, and trial preparation is strongly preferredStrong working knowledge of state and federal court filing proceduresAbility to manage multiple priorities and follow through on assignments with minimal supervisionHigh level of professionalism in all interactions with attorneys, clients, and colleaguesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailDemonstrated ability to take ownership of work and consistently meet deadlinesProactive, solution-oriented approach with the ability to anticipate needsAbility to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentCollaborative mindset with a commitment to teamwork and mutual supportSound judgment and discretion in handling confidential client and firm informationTechnical ProficiencyAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Word (document formatting, styles, tables of contents)Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data manipulationExperience with document management systems (e.g., NetDocuments) preferredExperience with billing systems preferredFamiliarity with Nuance or similar PDF editing tools is a plusEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredWe offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:Medical, dental, and vision coverageShort-term disability, life, and AD&D insurance401(k) and profit sharingFlexible spending accountsTransit contributions(Salary will be commensurate with experience.)Howard & Howard Attorneys is an equal opportunity employer!#J-18808-Ljbffr
